Earl L. Justice

Earl L. Justice, 92 of Mount Vernon passed away on May 31, 2019 at Ohio Eastern Star Home. He was born on June 2, 1926 to Herbert and Nettie (Roberts) Justice in Mohawk, WV.

Earl was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. He was on the Knox Community Hospital Board and a Clinton Township Trustee. Earl was a former board member of MOTA now KAT here in Knox County. He was also on the Board of the Station Break Senior Citizens Center. Earl and his wife Ileen often gave tours of Knox County and beyond from the Station Break. Earl was the recipient of the Senior Citizen of the year award.

He is survived by his brother Billy (Janet) Justice; sister-in-law Tommie Justice; a daughter Sharyn Evans; grandchildren, Lance Eyster and Jeff Evans and many great-grand children, nieces and nephews. He was also survived by a good friend Mirriam Hulse.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ileen Justice; sister Anna Mae Hips, brothers Hershel, Mack, Millard, Jerry, Robert.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Lasater Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00am at the Lasater Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens with Knox County Joint Veteran's Council providing military honors. Following the graveside service there will be a luncheon at The Station Break, 160 Howard St., Mount Vernon
