Judith May Flood, age 66, of Frazeysburg, passed away December 21, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born May 17, 1952 in Denver, CO to Grover and Evelyn (Hoselton) Hammonds.
Judith was a graduate of Mount Vernon High school. She was employed at Meijer in Newark, and was a member of the Riley Chapel Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Franklin Floyd Flood, three children: Vanessa (Glen) Ryan of Mount Vernon, Franklin Frederick Flood of Stillwell and Gina (Jay) Horn of Mount Gilead; six grandchildren: Connor Black, Evelyn Horn, Jay Horn, Megan Saling, Dustin (Angel) Horn and Hayden Pay; and one great-grandson Logan Eakin; three brothers Albert Hammonds of Shelby, Raymond Hammonds of Tennessee and Billy Hammonds of Danville; two sisters Beverly Summerfield of Mount Vernon and Connie May of Millwood; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Patricia Smith and Loretta Sharp and one brother James Hammonds.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Brandon Baptist Church. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 until the start of the service. A fellowship dinner will be held following the service at the church.
