Mahlon Eash Jr.December 26, 2017
Mahlon Eash Jr., 53 of Gambier, passed away December 26th, 2017. Mahlon was born on May 28, 1964 in LaGrange, Indiana to Emma and Mahlon Eash Sr. He married Erma Gingerich, March 14, 1987.
He was a member of Community Christian Fellowship Church and was dedicated to serving the Lord by running the projection and sound booth for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed going on international mission trips, especially the one he took with the CCF youth to the DR. Junior was the owner and CEO of Foundations Plus Poured Walls. He was very proud to carry on his parents legacy of taking over the family business that they started 39 years ago. His children were his world. Many memories were made with working together pouring walls, coaching the boys in their sporting events, playing golf together, and sharing the love of music with his daughter. It was no secret how much he loved his grandchildren, he was with them every moment possible giving them golf cart rides and teaching them his love for John Deere tractors. He had a way of making people feel welcome whenever they were in his presence. From extended family, lifelong friends, and all those who worked along side him, he made everybody feel loved. Because of this, he answered to different nicknames, such as “Pops”, “Spirit”, “Boyfriend”, “Hun”, ”Hey Boss” and “The Big Boss Man”. He will be missed in many ways!
