Marianne's smiles and laughter were so contagious.  My husband spent hours on the phone enjoying conversations with her in German.  We feel fortunate to have shared some lovely moments with her.

Marianne was my adopted mom and most of all my best friend. I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful loving person in my life. I will miss her forever. She is with Johnny in Heaven and for that I am thankful but I would give anything to have her back here with her family. RIP Oma your light always shines bright in my heart

I lost my best friend , Oma was like a mother to me. Having her in my life was the greatest joy. Oma was a strong loving beautiful lady. She shared the story of serving President Eisenhower his dinner. Her life was like no others. Ona I will miss you terribly.

So sorry to hear of Marianne's passing, I worked with both her & John at the Developmental Center.  She was a pleasure to work with.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Marianne was a beautiful soul, no more pain or sorrow for her. Marianne will always have a special place in my heart. Prayers for the family as you mourn this wonderful lady and member of your family. Blessings for you all, I’ll always remember Friedel and Honey and my stay in Unterammergau, Germany for our Oberammergau play. Johnny and Marianne are together again just as we remembered them. Blessings and Prayers...
