Obituary
Charles E. "Charlie" Stringfellow, 79 of Fredericktown passed away at Altercare Newark North on February 7, 2021. He was born on February 7, 1942 to Dwight Stringfellow and Doris Hauger of Mount Vernon.
Charles spent his career as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Lois (Tyson) Stringfellow; daughters Erin (Andy) Simmons of Fredericktown, Debbie Fields of Columbus, Diana (John) Tucker of Mount Vernon and Jackie (Chris Smith) Stringfellow of Mount Vernon; a son Gary Stringfellow of Newcastle; a brother Larry (Cheryl) Stringfellow of Granville; a sister Nancy (Jim) Puffenbarger of Mount Vernon; sister in law Judy Stringfellow of Mount Vernon; and 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; a brother George Stringfellow and a grandson Zachary Metzger.
Family and friends may call on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00am at the Lasater Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Amity Cemetery.
