James “Clay” Bristow II born on April 14, 2003 resident of Apple Valley, Ohio to Melissa Smith Bristow and James C. Bristow.
Clay was involved in a fatal car accident with four friends who are recovering from their injuries.
Clay graduated from East Knox High School. He loved being apart of the baseball team and enjoyed being apart in FFA activities. Clay’s fun-loving spirit attracted his friends with his sense of humor, contagious smile, and outgoing personality. There is no doubt the love he had for his family and friends.
Clay is survived by his mother, Melissa Bristow of Howard; twin sisters, Haylee and Ashlee Bristow of Howard; paternal grandfather, Jack Smith (Diana Durbin) of Gambier; aunts, Stephanie (Michael) Wenger of Kentucky, Jennifer Hartman of Cleveland, Robin (Greg) Tynes of Arizona; uncles, Brian (Amy) Bristow of Virginia, Mark (Julie) Bristow of Arizona; great-grandmother, Ruth Denny Culberson of Newark’ along with numerous cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, James in 2018; uncle, Chip Bristow, maternal grandmother, Theresa Smith in 2004 and paternal grandparents, Buddy and Ginger Bristow.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 3:00 – 6:00PM at Snyder Funeral Home - Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Where funeral services will follow calling hours at 6:00PM.
