Jessie Faye Harshman Eutsey, 86 of Mount Vernon , Ohio died Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Ohio. She was born in Connellsville on January 6, 1935, the middle child of seven, born to the late Robert W. and Gladys Ansell Harshman. She attended Liberty Grad School in Dickerson Run, Pa and graduated from Dunbar Twp. High School with the class of 1952, where she was a band member. Employed several years at G.C. Murphy Co. in Connellsville where she met her husband. She was baptized into the Church of Christ, Vanderbilt, Pa. at the age of 11, but attended various churches during many location moves due to her husband's employment. Friends and memories were made at each location, in Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. She, above all loved her family and was a kind woman of faith who enjoyed reading, coloring, puzzles, baking cookies, sports, especially college basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also loved gospel music and being a den mother to both of her son's during their cub scout years. She helped organize a book delivery between the Library and Welcome Wagon Club to local nursing home, while living in Galion, Ohio. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her son, Mark and wife Monica Eutsey and their children, Clint ( Hailey), Clayton and Corinne; daughter-in-law, Pamela Eutsey and children, Patrick ( Erika), Jeffrey ( Heidi), Kristin Hentin ( Mel); their families include 7 great grandchildren, Faith, Jacob, Miranda, Michael, Roselyn, Quinn, Zachary and 2 step great granddaughter, Mallory and Jasmine; much loved sister and brothers, Janice Kraynak of Dickerson Run, Pa and Ronald Harshman ( special sister-in-law, Patty) of Plano, Tx.; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins and lifelong special friends, Phyllis and Zane Foster of Maryland and Patty and Joseph Kubic of Ohio. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ray Eutsey, who she married in Hawaii on October 23, 1964; son, Jeffrey and an infant son, James; brother, Robert Harshman, Jr.; sisters, Mary Lee Niel, Ruth Koontz and Marjorie Brownsfield.
Family and Friends will be received in the Brooks Funeral Home, 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, PA on Friday 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.the hour of services with Rev. Dr. Marvin C.
