Paul R. Robinson, 65, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday morning, November 12, 2021 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1956 in Mount Vernon to the late Russell W. and Mae E. (Haywood) Robinson.
Paul was a 1975 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He had worked at the former Buckeye Candy Company, NAPA and the Ariel Corporation where he was head of maintenance. Paul enjoyed woodworking, fishing, riding his motorcycle with friends and camping with his wife in West Virginia. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and loved attending their soccer games. He was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church and the Jaycees.
Paul is survived by his wife, Naomi (Wilfong) Robinson whom he married on December 18, 1982; daughters, Bobbi (Jason) Maleszewski of Centerburg, Angela (David) Chenault of Harrisburg and Haylee Martino of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Noah, Lucy, Layla, and Jazlyn; his sister, Linda (Bernie) Ingles of Gambier; and an aunt, Estelle Glasscock of Florence, AL.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a grandson, Wesley.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd., Mount Vernon where a funeral service celebrating the life of Paul will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will in Martinsburg Cemetery.
